Description

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

KARE provides support to people who have an intellectual disability and their families. We were founded in 1967 and work in the mid and south Kildare, east Offaly, west Wicklow and northeast Carlow areas of Ireland. We believe that people with an intellectual disability are important and should be a part of their community like everyone else. We work with each individual who uses the service to support them to develop their skills and abilities so that they can live the life of their choice.
Support Worker positions available offering quality work experience and accredited training. This is an ideal opportunity to gain valuable experience working as part of a team supporting service users to meet their individual needs in the following areas, recreation, supported employment, community inclusion and personal care. This is a great opportunity to gain hands on work experience and gain a QQI Major Award in ID Practice & Community Healthcare and all essential Mandatory/industry standard training required to work in the Healthcare sector.
