What’s required of you:

• Preferred (but not essential) have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a minimum of Certificate 2 in Veterinary Nursing or Animal Studies.
• Previous experience working on a busy veterinary reception desk would be highly regarded (but not essential).
• A friendly and happy disposition, whilst being able to empathize in what can be at times an emotionally challenging situation
• You are a great communicator who remains calm under pressure – particularly at times where you may need to triage emergency calls
• Ability to multi task and work productively in a high paced environment
• Can demonstrate excellent skill in administration and client care and have a working knowledge of computer applications, ideally Rx Works and Microsoft applications.
• Highly organised, quick to learn and careful with the details and can plan ahead so there are no surprises.
• Always looking to improve by challenging the status quo and thinking outside the box.

This role will be based at our Deloraine Clinic located at 23 Beefeater Street, Deloraine, TAS, 7304
