Hybrid position available! A mid-sized consumer products company based in Bloomfield, NJ is currently seeking an Accounting Manager on a contract basis to cover for a leave of absence.The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading typical GL accounting activities preparing financial reports, and supporting year-end activities (including annual audit preparation).The Accounting Manager will also be tasked with handling monthly close activities, monthly variance analysis, quarterly cash flow forecasts, and preparing monthly financial reports to uphold banking covenants.The ideal Accounting Manager will have prior experience working in growing or mid-market consumer products companies, and will be highly proficient with Excel and Oracle products.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

- Cash Flow Reporting

- Oracle Systems

- Year-End Close

- Variance analysis

- Financial Statement Preparation

- Month End Close

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
