GROUNDS AND MAINTENANCE ROLE: PART-TIME 25-30 HOURS

BIG4 Castlemaine is a multi-award-winning park set in beautiful natural surroundings overlooking the town's Botanical Gardens in the heart of Castlemaine, in the Central Victoria Goldfields region. We provide stunning glamping, villa and studio accommodation as well as camping and caravanning sites to a wide range of guests from around the country. Set on 2.75 landscaped and treed hectares, we are the largest accommodation provider in Castlemaine with capacity to accommodate over 500 people on site.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

AN ALL-ROUND TRADES AND GROUNDS TEAM MEMBER

We're looking for a person with solid experience in repairing, maintaining and caring for buildings, grounds and gardens. A keen eye for detail is essential, as are a range of trade and gardening skills such as pruning, painting, carpentry, general maintenance, appliance installation, and smaller plumbing fixes.

You’ll be part of a small, enthusiastic team and will report to the Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor. You’ll also be a "people person" who would enjoy occasionally assisting guests with site-up as required and helping deliver an exceptional holiday experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful applicant will be an important member of a team that is responsible for ensuring our accommodation, amenities. facilities and surrounding gardens and landscaping are maintained to the high standards expected by our guests. Responsibilities will be varied but will include garden maintenance, and repairs and upgrades to buildings and equipment. From time to time, assistance in installing new facilities within the park will be required.

A flexible attitude toward work-hours is occasionally required.
