Kiwi Crunch is known around the world as the brand name for fresh, crisp New Zealand Apples and Pears. Kiwi Crunch employs 130 permanent staff which increases to over 800 employees at the height of the apple season. Kiwi Crunch has a permanent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the Export and Shipping team.

 

About the Role

The key responsibility of this role is to assist with the export documentation system. This will include producing customer invoices, creating export documentation for a wide range of markets and completing shipping related tasks. You will be communicating with our customers, assisting with shipping and logistics activities, and providing timely information and support throughout the shipping process. You will also complete other admin tasks as required.

 

There is lots of variety in the role and each day you can have a different situation to work through, you will become a great problem solver. It’s a shipping role, so things will constantly change as vessels move around. The role operates in normal office hours but will require you to work outside regular hours to accommodate different time zones or urgent shipping issues during peak season (February – May).

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have an eye for detail, have high numeracy and literacy skills and be able to follow set processes.
You'll be a great people person and you are able to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people both in written and verbal communication.
Our export team is small but efficient, so you will need to be motivated and able to work independently.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to positively cope with change will be vitally important.
Ideally our preferred candidate will have previous experience in the export supply chain and a background in administration.
Have the right to work in New Zealand and be able to pass pre-employment screening and checks.
