We make the recruitment process easy for you. CDC will assist you to upgrade your C class licence and help you get your ‘H’ endorsement to carry passengers and operate our fleet of buses.

We offer flexible work tailored to your needs.

Seeking casual work, you can work as little as 20 hours per week doing school runs for us, and be part of the first-time school services for Tennant Creek. Joining our professional and award-winning bus-driving family provides the ultimate flexibility as your work revolves around school terms and split shifts from Monday to Friday.

A market leader in modern safety technology, CDC’s buses are well-maintained and air-conditioned for your comfort, enjoyment, and wellbeing.

Remember, if you have yet to drive a bus, we will pay you well while providing extensive on-the-job training to make you a very confident, capable, and accomplished school bus driver for our company.

About you

CDC will consider a number of options as far as your skills and experience are concerned because we have plenty of work and lots of opportunities for you in the Northern Territory and other states.

Here is a snapshot of some of what we need from you:

A driver's licence and good driving record
Current LR licence or ability to be trained to get one
H endorsement or the ability to get one
Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) or ability to get one
Any bus driving or heavy vehicle experience would be great but not essential
A good manner and the ability to interact with customers of all ages and abilities
