Description

A client based in Hackettstown, NJ is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a contract to full-time basis. The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller, and will be directly involved with managing routine monthly close processes, preparing journal entries, assisting with monthly financials, supporting AP and AR activities, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The ideal Senior Accountant will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in small- to mid-sized manufacturing companies, will be proficient with GAAP accounting, and will have strong Excel skills.


Requirements
Knowledge of GAAP and/or SOX compliance
Experience in manufacturing environment
Proficiency with Excel
Experience with monthly closes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
