Job Description:

Our client is seeking a driven and astute Senior Corporate Tax Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and developing tax strategies aligned with company goals.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee tax planning of enterprises and manage the preparation and review process for corporate tax returns.

2. Advise on tax implications of business decisions and investments, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

3. Research and propose recommendations relating to the tax effect of prospective company decisions.

4. Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.

5. Liaise with internal and external auditors and manage tax audits.

6. Help with corporate tax provision and tax compliance work.

 

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Master’s degree and/or CPA certification is preferred.

2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in corporate tax accounting within a public accounting firm or multi-national corporation.

3. Solid knowledge of GAAP and regulations.

4. Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex information.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
