Description

The RN(NP)provides a spectrum of primary health care services as per the SRNA RN(NP) competency guidelines in the Meadow Lake PHC Centre as well as outreach clinics with the area. The RN(NP) functions as a member of an interdisciplinary team, consulting and refering to appropriate health care providers when necessary; collaborating with other members of the health care team to ensure quality care for the patient.
Required Qualifications

Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred
Certification in recognized Primary Care Nurse Practitioner equivalent program or Nurse Practitioner Master's Program required
Level C - Basic Cardiac Life Support
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) as an RN (NP) or RN (GNP)
Valid drivers license or the ability to travel both within the Region and Provincially
Experience
Three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse, with one (1) year in community needs assessment, community development and health promotion. It is preferred that a minimum of one (1) year be in a primary health setting.
