About the role
Join the CareWays team as a Care Worker in Illawarra. In this role, you will provide vital support and assistance to our elderly clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. As a Care Worker, you will be an integral part of our mission to deliver exceptional community support services.

What you'll be doing

Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Provide companionship and engage clients in social and recreational activities

Monitor client's well-being and report any changes or concerns to the manager

Adhere to care plans and ensure the highest standards of service delivery

Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

What we're looking for

A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and individuals with disabilities

Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent (or currently studying)

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the community services or healthcare industry

Minimum of six months previous care worker experience required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A caring, patient, and empathetic nature

A valid driver's license, reliable car and smart phone

Current first aid certificate or willing to obtain
