Senior Accountant - hybrid work schedule!

Your talents will be used to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities in this role

- Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

- Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary

- Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

- Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Engage in various department-wide initiatives

- Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet

- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

- Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner

- Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

Requirements
- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

- Self-starter and strong ethical standards

- ERP system experience

- Command of account reconciliation

- GAAP Accounting experience highly desired

- Deep understanding of Journal Entry Preparation

- Month end closings experience desired

- Financial statement preparation experience preferred

- Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience

- Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

- Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- BA/BS in Accounting

- Exceptional time management skills preferred
