Job Description
Develop and implement category strategies to drive growth and profitability within the FMCG industry.
Analyze market data and consumer trends to identify opportunities and challenges for category development.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align category plans with overall business objectives.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure category success and sustainable growth.
Monitor category performance and provide actionable insights to optimize strategies.
Lead product assortment planning and pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
Identify and recommend innovative approaches to enhance category performance.
Ensure alignment with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant
A degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Category Development / Category Management / Trade Marketing / Commercial roles
Strong leadership experience, ideally with previous people management responsibilities.
Proficient in analysing market data, consumer insights, and financial metrics to develop actionable strategies.
Strong communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging both senior stakeholders and external partners.
A results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving growth and innovation.
Knowledge of sales and marketing principles specific to the FMCG sector.
