About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our workshop in Napier. In this role, you will oversee a team of skilled diesel mechanics, ensuring the efficient repair and servicing of a variety of heavy equipment. You will foster a productive and positive work environment, maintain high standards of workmanship, provide support to your team, and build strong, lasting relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of diesel mechanics.
Take a hands-on approach to assist in workshop operations as needed.
Liaise directly with customers, ensuring excellent service delivery.
Manage and oversee daily workshop operations.
Ensure all documentation and paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain high standards of health and safety practices.
About You
Proven experience in a leadership role within the heavy equipment or related industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with your team and customers.
A proactive, positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
Effective time management and organisational skills.
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on capability.
