New Era 4 Disability, Bathurst, NSW

New Era is a boutique Disability Service Provider is seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to fill their Residential Support Worker positions in their Bathurst supported independent living group homes. Positions are part-time or casual. In this role you will be working independently, within a team to support our customers in their home and out in the community.
We are currently recruiting for our residential homes.

As a member of our organisation, you will be working in a fun and progressive environment. We have a strong focus on empowering persons with a disability and family inclusiveness.

We are looking for people with an energetic personality, who have good values, a sense of humour and can deliver true personal centred supports and who have the flexibility to be available to support our clients on a 24/7 Roster. Applicants MUST be available for a range of shifts including overnights, weekend and weekday shifts.

Currently hiring to fill rosters with a mixture of weekday day shifts, evening and overnight shifts as well as weekend day and night shift. Applicants need only apply with availability to complete a range of shifts.

Key Qualities and Skills required for these roles include;

Experience in supporting people who display behaviours of concern

Experience in providing personal care supports

Ability to work a range of days, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts (Please do not apply if you do not have the flexibility to work a range of shifts)

Permanent Resident or citizen of Australia

Current First Aid Certificate and valid CPR

Valid NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) or willing to apply

Covid-19 triple vaccinated with booster where applicable and influenza vaccine.

Must have an Australian driver's license

Experience working with people with a disability or lived experience.

Confident in using the latest technology/Data collection and report writing

Availability and flexibility to work shift work with availability as per above details

Desirable

A minimum Cert III Disability or similar qualifications

About You:

Reliable and punctual

Good communicator (Written & Verbal)

Can attend to work duties without checking your phone constantly

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to work independently (with training provided!)

Outgoing personality with the ability to think outside the box

Solid understanding of the importance of supporting participants towards their goals

Flexibility to work across as 24 hour roster with availability for weekdays, weekends and night shifts

Salary:

Attractive above award hourly rates and conditions in accordance with your skills and experience. Ability to work towards pay increases and bonuses. As a charity we also offer salary packaging benefits.

Employment type:

Permanent Part time, or casual. Paid sick leave, annual leave and superannuation in addition to attractive hourly rates and option to salary sacrifice.
