Moonshadow-TQC Cruises, a Nelson Bay based charter vessel company is seeking a motivated Accounts & Administration Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to both the Finance Manager and Administration Manager, assisting to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial procedures and administrative tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the marine tourism industry while contributing to the efficient day-to-day operations of our business.

What you will be doing -

- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Preparing bank reconciliations and month-end reports

- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports

- Managing phone and email enquiries

- Processing bookings, payments, and customer records.

- Assisting with general office coordination

- Supporting Business Development Manager with marketing tasks

- Liaising with crew, suppliers, and tourism partners

- Maintaining accurate data entry and filing systems

What we are looking for –

- Applicants must be available Thursday & Friday, & one other day per week.

- Demonstrated experience in an accounts assistant or similar role.

- Minimum of 3+years of experience in an accounts assistant or similar role

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Proficiency in MYOB software is required.

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- A keen interest in the cruise industry or tourism sector

- Australian unrestricted work rights required for the position

- Flexible availability, including weekends and peak tourism periods
