We are currently seeking a committed long term team member to join our Proshop/Driving Range team. If you believe you can work under pressure, have good customer service skills, don’t mind getting your hands dirty and can work as a team or just as well when left alone, this role may be what you are looking for.

NSGC is one of the busiest golf clubs in the country, with between 70,000-75,000 rounds per year being played.

You will be working part time in and around the Proshop, so having outstanding customer service skills is a must. You will also be assigned to driving range ball collection at on various shifts, so getting a little dirty and having to lift (15-20kg) will be required.

Responsibilities:

Providing excellent customer service and a great experience to members and visitors
Giving advice on products and services available at the NSGC
Proactively promoting the proshop business
Driving range management, ball collection and cleaning, range bucket (lifting of 15-20kg required)
Sand bucket collection and replenishing of sand bucket stations
Motorised cart management, cleaning, preparing for use and putting away after use
General proshop cleaning and emptying of rubbish bins in the proshop
Merchandising and displaying and replenishing products
Stocktaking and inwards goods management
Assisting the Proshop Manager with other assigned tasks

Requirements:

Some weekend work required
Be flexible with work days and times
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Have an understanding of POS systems (Lightspeed/Vend and DotGolf preferred but not necessary)
Previous retail experience advantageous (but not necessary)
Have own personal transport
No previous dishonesty criminal convictions
Be hard working and dedicated to your role
Be reliable and punctual
