KARE provides support to people who have an intellectual disability and their families. We were founded in 1967 and work in the mid and south Kildare, east Offaly, west Wicklow and northeast Carlow areas of Ireland. Support Worker positions available offering quality work experience and accredited training. This is an ideal opportunity to gain valuable experience working as part of a team supporting service users to meet their individual needs in the following areas, recreation, supported employment, community inclusion and personal care. This is a great opportunity to gain hands on work experience and gain a QQI Major Award in ID Practice & Community Healthcare and all essential Mandatory/industry standard training required to work in the Healthcare sector.
