We're on the hunt for an experienced Electrician to join our growing crew in Whangārei.

This is your chance to work on vital public infrastructure projects from energising street lighting and power accessories to deploying smart control systems that make our cities smarter and safer.

What You’ll Be Doing
Installing and commissioning electrical systems in lamp posts, street furniture, and roadside power assets
Working on smart electronic controls and PLC-based systems for traffic and lighting infrastructure
Reading and interpreting civil/electrical schematics and site plans
Collaborating closely with project managers and civil contractors
Maintaining compliance with electrical safety and civil site protocols

What We’re Looking For
Registered Electrician with a current NZ practicing license
Experience with electrical installations in outdoor or roading/civil environments
Confidence with PLC systems and control hardware
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic
A great attitude and team-first mentality
