Aesthetic Dental is looking for a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team in Hastings. We are a close-knit team of two clinicians, committed to delivering high-quality dentistry in a warm and supportive environment. One of our team members is relocating to Auckland, and while we are sad to see her go, we are excited to welcome someone new to the team.

About the role:
This is a varied and dynamic position offering a great mix of responsibilities. You will pretty much be the backbone of our day-to-day operations, supporting the team wherever needed.

Our structure provides variety throughout the week, with typically two days working alongside our director, and the remaining days supporting our oral health therapist, assisting at reception, and helping with sterilisation.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred

Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay organised

Well-presented with high personal and professional standards

Empathetic and caring towards patients and team members

Reliable, flexible, and a team player

Ability to work well under pressure and support others when needed

A good understanding of cross-infection control and sterilisation protocols

Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (with Wednesdays off)
There may be occasional opportunities to pick up Wednesdays, so some flexibility is appreciated.
