Description

A reputable, full-service Portland firm is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Paralegal to join their practice and provide support and service to their top corporate clients. This firm offers top-of-market salaries, excellent benefits, and up to a fully remote schedule.

Duties include:

Assist attorneys with all aspects of workers' compensation cases in Washington and Oregon, including:

Intake and initial case evaluation
Client communication and correspondence
Medical record organization and analysis
Discovery preparation and management
Drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
Researching relevant legal issues and case law
Maintaining accurate and organized case files
Meeting deadlines and staying on top of case developments
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with 4% match, 12 days paid vacation, 10 days of paid sick leave and 8 paid holidays per calendar year.


Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workers' Compensation and Oregon and Washington State
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent research and writing skills
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
