JOB CENTER for migrant workers

A Retail company in Bergen County, New Jersey is seeking a Lease Accountant on a long term contract basis. The Lease Accountant will be tasked with supporting the month end close process for leases, review lease agreements under ASC 842 and manage accounting for lease terminations. The Lease Accountant will also prepare lease agreements and review reconciliations. The ideal Lease Accountant will have previous ASC 842 experience. CoStar experience is a plus!

Requirements
- Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

- Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports

- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

- ASC 842 experience

- Expertise in month end closings

- Lease Accounting experience

- Experience with leases

- Sublease experience

- Adeptness in Balance Sheet Account

- Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

- Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers

- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

- Knowledgeable of ERP systems

- Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
