Seeking Bright Sparks!
DairyTech South – Southland

Are you a qualified electrician ready to amp up your career? If you're looking for variety, great perks, and a team that actually gets on with each other and enjoys the work they do hit Apply Now!

At DairyTech South, no two days are the same and if you're keen to get out and about and keep learning we’ll reward you with some serious benefits!

You can be based anywhere in Southland, we have two offices/workshops (Gore and Winton) that act as hubs however you'll be travelling across the region in a company ute making things happen.

Why Join Us?

Varied Work: No boring, repetitive jobs here. One day you could be repairing dairy automation systems, the next you might be wiring up a brand-new build. Forget “same-old, same-old”—we’ve got plenty of circuits to keep you excited.
Awesome Perks: Get a vehicle, phone, tablet, clothing, bonus scheme and more. We’ve got all the tools to keep you plugged in.
Solid Team: We’re a fun, experienced bunch who all support one another and know how to get the job done. And yes, we know how to kick back and enjoy a good BBQ too.
Competitive Pay: Because we know you’re worth it. With an annual bonus and options to jump into our oncall roster, your paycheck will be just as rewarding as your work.
Top Equipment: We’ve got modern fleet vehicles, brand new workshops, and all the tools you’ll need to do the job right. You’ll be fully equipped to light up your day!
Training: We’ll give you the skills and support to grow. Plus, you’ll learn something new every day—after all, the only thing that’s static here is the equipment, we'll make sure you stay current.
What We’re Looking For:

You must be NZ qualified, a NZ resident or hold a valid work visa. Ideally you're local and ready to hit the ground running.
You’ve got a clean driver’s licence (you’ll be driving a work vehicle, so we need you grounded).
You’re safety-conscious and know how to follow instructions and H&S policies (because let’s face it, no one likes an unexpected short circuit).
You bring high standards to your work and don’t cut corners (unless you’re wiring them!).
You’ve got a sense of humour and can handle a few volts of banter.
You’re a NZ resident or hold a valid work/resident visa.
The "Farm" Part

Yes, you'll be working on farms, you’ll get plenty of fresh air and travel through the scenic countryside — good for the soul and great for grounding. It can get a little muddy in winter, but hey, that's part of the charm (and we’ll make sure you’ve got all the gear to make it comfortable). Plus, you’ll feel pretty charged knowing you’re helping farmers—who are the lifeblood of our economy—keep the milk flowing.

Ready for a Change?

If you’re looking for a role where you can switch on to something new, with a fun team, plenty of perks, and a few laughs along the way, then DairyTech South could be the place for you. Send your CV and cover letter!
