Do you want to play a privileged role in providing holistic and quality specialist palliative care services for our community. Make a real difference with your compassion and support.

We are looking for Registered Nurses to join the inpatient/community nursing team:

· A Registered Nurse for a permanent part time 0.8 FTE and

· A casual Registered Nurse

ABOUT YOU

Our successful applicant will have:

· NZ Nursing Council Registration and current Annual Practising Certificate

· Palliative care experience (desirable, but not essential)

· A genuine interest in and desire to further develop in palliative care

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Adaptability, and a calm, mature attitude

· Current NZ Drivers Licence

As a Registered Nurse, you will work in the interdisciplinary team and take pride in delivering holistic palliative care to patients and whānau. You will provide symptom and pain management and end-of-life care for patients with a wide range of diagnoses and at different stages of their disease trajectory. These services are provided across a number of care settings, in a person’s own home or place of residence, or in the hospice inpatient unit.
