About Balonne Shire:

The Balonne Shire is located along the beautiful Balonne River, just five hours' drive west of Brisbane on the QLD-NSW border. Balonne Shire Council has a dedicated team of 110+ staff and population of 4,500 people who live in the surrounding towns of St George, Thallon, Dirranbandi, Bollon, Nindigully, Mungindi and Hebel.

About the Position:

The Town Ganger – Dirranbandi and Hebel is responsible for assisting with project operations and carrying out town maintenance and construction primarily in Dirranbandi and Hebel township

About you (selection criteria):

Current MR Class drivers' licence
White Card - General Safety Induction
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
Minimum two (2) years’ relevant labouring and manual handling experience, in similar positions of team leadership
Ability to work unsupervised
