About the Role:

Turramurra house: 34 Curagul Road, Turramurra

Thompson Health Care is seeking Nursing Assistant Advance Role (NAARS) with shifts available across morning and afternoon shift at Turramurra House. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking flexible work schedules and looking to join a supportive team who place a great emphasis on mentoring and training.

We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who are keen to join our fantastic team at Turramurra House and provide excellent care and support to our residents.

Daily duties:

Provide quality care according to the current Resident Care Plan to meet the individuals needs and enhance quality of life.
Assist residents with daily living activities, grooming, mobility and nutrition.
Work in a household model of care include providing catering and dining services.
Contribute to care plans and documentation.
Can do medication duties.
Can Lead the NA team.
Communicate effectively and professionally with the Nursing Team
Desired skills and experience:

Has to have Medication Competency CERT
Medication skills
Experience in aged care desirable.
Ideally will have Certificate IV in Nursing.
Demonstrates excellence in customer service and care; and
Has an interest in working with the elderly.
