We are recruiting for CRITICAL CARE nurses for home care with a minimum of two years CRITICAL CARE nursing experience for shifts in Nowra/ Kangaroo Valley area

We currently have a female client in the Nowra/ Kangaroo Valley area who needs CRITICAL CARE nurses twice a day for 2x 2 hour shifts 8:30-10:30 and 14:00-16:00 for home TPN hook on- hook off and PICC line management. A postgraduate critical care qualification would be highly regarded as well as the willingness to adapt your critical care nursing skills to a sensitive home care environment!

We are looking for candidates who are looking for regular work and who want to build a relationship with the client and their family.

We empower and equip our clients with new awareness, opportunities, love and joy in the midst of massive challenges and we give them the precious gift of a peaceful and gentle transition to a holistic Client and family friendly home care environment, far away from the craziness of a hospital ICU/PICU environment.

24 hours CRITICAL CARE nurses in the home
24 hour monitoring
home invasive tracheostomy ventilation
home NIV ventilation
tracheostomy care
central line, PICC line, Hickman’s line and PORT management
Home TPN
IV fluids and antibiotics at home
enteral feeding
psychosocial care

Who you are

If you have a minimum of two years CRITICAL CARE nursing experience and a critical care qualification(desirable) and you want to join a dynamic and progressive team of forward thinking CRITICAL CARE nurses and you think you have what it takes to provide our clients with the quality of life/quality of end of life at home instead of intensive care you have come to the right place.

Supported by a clinical liaison nurse/ educator, team leaders and a team of senior CRITICAL CARE nurses with hundreds of years CRITICAL CARE nurse experience combined, we are delighted to hear from you if you have

· A minimum of two years CRITICAL CARE nursing experience

· Post-graduate critical care certificate or equivalent(desirable)

· A “can-do” attitude

· High level of self-awareness

· Can work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent clinical judgement

· Excellent communication skills
