JOB CENTER for migrant workers

Stantil Engineering is a manufacturing company based in Bunbury drawing on many years of experience in supplying specialised thermal and materials handling equipment to the international mining industry. Products include the Ansac brand of rotary kilns, oil heaters, tilting furnaces and calcining ovens for the gold industry as well as rotary dryers for mineral processing, paddle mixers, screw conveyors and other material handling equipment. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join our manufacturing team.

Main Responsibilities:

Assembly and fitting of mechanical components, for both small and larger new equipment
Associated assembly tasks including insulation, refractory and valve overhauls as required
Requirements:

Be physically fit to handle the demands of the job
Good Industry experience in a similar position
Current ‘C’ Class Drivers licence, Forklift licence advantageous
Mechanically minded and able to problem solve
Able to efficiently work to required deadlines with good attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Positive and proactive approach to safety
Willingness to work overtime as required
Good communication skills and problem solving abilities
Reliable, with a great attitude and strong work ethic
