Description

We're actively searching for a detail-oriented and highly organized Corporate Tax Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in preparing tax return policies, preparing regulatory documentation and reports, reviewing and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy, and overseeing and coordinating audits, when necessary. As a Corporate Tax Analyst, you're playing an integral role in the company's legal and financial management.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

1. Prepare and file all kinds of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.

2. Prepare regulatory reporting documentation and maintain tax records.

3. Conduct tax audits and provide recommendations to minimize tax payments.

4. Research tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and keep up-to-date with changes.

5. Collaborate with the finance team in setting corporate tax strategies.

6. Identify tax risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.

7. Assist with the tax planning of potential mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.

8. Developing tax analyses to estimate cash tax projections.

9. Provide support for any litigation involving tax matters.

 

Job Requirements:

 

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or any other relevant tax/accounting certification is preferred.

3. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Tax Analyst or a similar role in finance.

4. Thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations is essential.

5. Strong proficiency in tax software and databases, as well as the standard suite of office software.

6. Excellent numerical skills and strong attention to detail.

7. Good organizational and time management abilities.

8. Analytical abilities, with strong problem-solving skills.

9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
