We are seeking an Automation Engineer with a sound knowledge of the design, programming and commissioning of industrial automation control and safety systems to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will create, commission and maintain industrial automation control systems; and will manage every aspect of their projects from initial customer briefing through to handover and beyond. This will include:

PLC, HMI and SCADA programming and commissioning
Creating electrical schematics (PC Schematic)
Developing technical work documents, functional design specifications, test documents
Specifying and purchasing of automation and instrumentation equipment
Supporting the electrical team and working closely with clients and subcontractors
About you:

Highly experienced with at least five years in Industrial Automation Programming, you will bring to the role:

Proven experience in PLC, HMI and SCADA programming (Allen Bradley, Schneider, Omron and Ignition)
Ability to read, interpret and create electrical schematics (PC Schematic preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
High-level planning skill set and a willingness to learn new processes
A reliable and conscientious approach - able to complete tasks on time, whilst maintaining quality and safety standards
A focus on delivering results in both supervised and unsupervised environments
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Software
