What will you be doing?

Being in charge of your assembly section, staying upbeat, and setting a good example to your colleagues.
Looking out for your colleagues who need a hand and showing them the ropes like a pro, making sure we're all on top of our game.
Jumping in with technical assistance with the job scope as required or requested, just say the word.
Keeping the managers in the loop about any concerns or potential issues.
Spreading good vibes about the company to everyone, from the newbies to senior staff members.
Rolling up your sleeves and working side by side with the crew and management, to achieve results promoting teamwork and mutual respect.
Juggling personnel productivity with everyday Leading Hand responsibilities.
Making sure everyone's safety is number one, no shortcuts here.
Putting together amazing equipment by assembling metal parts and sub-assemblies.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager and making sure everyone is in the loop.
What do you need?

Year 10 education minimum.
Trade certificate in relevant trade – advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of workshop practices.
Good attitude and strong leadership skills.
Forklift Licence - preferred but not essential.
Experience in mining fixed plant equipment workshop based preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
