Description

We are looking for a dedicated Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Washington, DC. This role is crucial for handling large matters that our firm is engaged in, including responding to requests for interrogatories and admissions. This role requires meticulous cross-checking work with existing databases and charts. The successful candidate will have litigation experience and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Gain a general understanding of litigation processes
• Learn quickly and adapt to our firm's system for handling requests
• Meet frequent deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
• Understand and consider overarching strategy issues in all tasks
• Produce strong written communications for various legal needs
• Display good interpersonal skills and work well within a team
• Show a keen attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities
• Maintain a Bar license in DC
• Use litigation skills to effectively respond to requests for interrogatories and admissions.
Requirements
• Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Active membership in the state bar association

• Minimum of 1 year experience in practicing law, preferably in litigation

• Demonstrated skills in legal research, analysis, and drafting of legal documents

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong ethical standards and integrity

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to adhere to all professional ethics, standards, and regulations.
