Care home: Orchard Lodge

Hours of work: 32 hours per week, 4 shifts per week

Job Overview:

As part of the support services team you will assist the Cook in the day to day running of the kitchen, to undertake hygiene and general kitchen duties concerned with the operation and the smooth running of the care home kitchen. You will be required to take part in any associated training activities in order that you ascertain the skills and knowledge to carry out your role in an effective and safe manner.

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by applicant. The employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of adults. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.

Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills

Experience of working in a kitchen setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
