4 days - Dayshift - RDO
4 days - Nightshift - RDO
12-hour shift pattern – 4 x Day Shift, 4 x Night Shift.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for extruding pipe to precise measurements and quality standards. Proficient in maintaining extrusion machines, tools, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup and Operation: Configure and operate extrusion machines, ensuring they are set up correctly for the production of pipes to meet quality standards.
Quality Control: Monitor the extrusion process continuously to maintain product quality, including dimensions, thickness, and surface finish, and take corrective action as needed.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues during the extrusion process, such as material jams or product defects, to ensure smooth operations.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed production records, documenting machine settings, material usage, and quality control data accurately.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
Cleaning and Housekeeping: Keep work area clean and organised to ensure safety.
About You

Prior experience within manufacturing environment.
Possession of a current forklift license essential
Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand tools are beneficial qualities.
