The opportunity:

Alpine Civil are looking for a highly experienced General Manager with extensive commercial experience to join their team based in Alexandra, Central Otago.

This position will be responsible for managing the overall growth and success of the organisation including resourcing; finances; and statutory and regulatory obligations.

 

The job includes:

· Develop and execute business strategy to drive sustainable growth.

· Oversee all business units, ensuring operational excellence across departments.

· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

· Tender estimates and review and letting contracts

· Manage Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) projects

· Manage all Sub-contractor negotiations and management

 

What you will bring to the role:

· Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a main contractor.

· Strong commercial acumen with a track record of implementing business systems and driving strategy.

· Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.

· Experience within the civil sector is highly desirable.

· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

· Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and operational efficiencies.
