The EyeClinic Albury-Wodonga is a specialist Ophthalmology practice that has been providing accessible, high quality, comprehensive eye care to people in our Border region for over 60 years. We are a friendly and professional team of highly regarded Ophthalmologists, Orthoptists, Ophthalmic Technicians, Research, Nursing and Administration staff. Our practice prides ourselves on our commitment and dedication to exceeding the medical and eye care needs of our community.

About the Position

The position is full time, Monday to Friday 38 hours a week

Backgrounds in Allied Health or Health Science are desirable but not essential

Full training as an Ophthalmic Technician will be provided

A positive and proactive attitude

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and work under pressure.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Working in a supportive team environment with a team of 7 orthoptist and additional Ophthalmic assistants.

Duties will Include

Diagnostic Imaging

Vision Taking

Clinical note taking

Getting the patient ready for the specialist
