JOB CENTER for migrant workers

Carefoot Farms Ltd. is a large-scale progressive grain farm located just outside Swift Current.
We are currently seeking Seasonal Truck Drivers and Equipment Operators for our 2025 Harvest operations. Seasonal positions are full time between approx. Aug-Oct, with opportunities for permanent full time roles with an immediate start date for the right candidates.

Applicants must:
Hold a valid Class 1A drivers licence for trucker postions and a valid Class 5 licence for all other roles, a clean driving record regardless of licence class is required.
Operators must have experience operating modern equipment such as Sprayers, Hay Balers and Combines, with a general working knowledge of equipment.
Be mechanically inclined and capable of performing equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
Truckers must be capable of conducting pre/post-trip inspections, assist in the maintenance of the truck including cleaning, servicing and minor maintenance and adhere to all traffic rules and regulations while operating trucks on the farm and on public roads.
All candidates must be digitally proficient and capable of using a variety of apps and GPS software.
Have the ability to work both independently and within a team, multitask and be efficient with their time.
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks as needed and work long days during our Growing Season.
Have the ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions, proficiency in English is a critical component of our operations.
Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and performing manual labour.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure.
