Connexis (soon to be operating under the Energy & Infrastructure Industry Skills Board - ISB) is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Marketing Lead to join our team.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi: About this role

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Lead to lead the development and delivery of our marketing and communications strategy.

This is a senior role responsible for shaping our brand, driving engagement, and promoting industry pathways across multiple channels. You’ll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to ensure our marketing activity delivers real impact.

This is a permanent, office-based role, located in Te Aro, Wellington, with flexible work from home opportunities up to 2 days per week.

The role is 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:00am – 5:30pm.

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading the development and delivery of the Connexis' marketing and communications plan

Managing digital engagement channels including website, social media, eNews, advertising and campaigns

Overseeing PR activity, media relationships and supplier partnerships

Managing marketing budgets and reporting on performance and outcomes

Leading and supporting marketing team members, including performance management

Supporting careers promotion, events, industry engagement initiatives and sponsorships

Developing and maintaining marketing assets, content and collateral

Tracking, analysing and reporting on marketing performance to support continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring:

A Master's degree in Marketing (essential)

9-10 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a proven ability to create and execute successful marketing strategies (essential)

Exposure to or experience working with Connexis' key industries in a vocational education setting, with an understanding of industry trends and our audience needs (essential)

Experience leading marketing campaigns in an environment of change

In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, social media management, content creation, and campaign delivery, with proven experience leading this

Strong people leadership and supplier management capability

Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple platforms

A collaborative, solution-focused approach with the confidence to represent Connexis with stakeholders and at industry events

A salary starting for this role is $110,000. The maximum salary for this role is $120,000 per annum.
