Medical Secretary / Administrator – Vision For Life Institute

Vision For Life Institute is a busy, fast-paced, and growing Ophthalmology practice with locations in Upper Mount Gravatt, Loganholme and Hervey Bay. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our team as a Medical Secretary / Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

Answering and managing incoming phone calls

Greeting and assisting patients

Booking and billing patients

Managing appointments and clinic schedules

Organising hospital bookings

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Be warm, professional, and approachable when interacting with patients and carers

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Show a positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment

Be reliable and adaptable, with a willingness to work varying shifts, including early starts or late finishes

Be available for work Monday - Friday at the Hervey Bay Practice.

Essential criteria:

Previous experience in an medical practice (preferably Ophthalmology)
