About the role:
Mix of hard and soft landscaping, most with a short lifespan
Mix of council and private work
Planning, organising, and coordinating the work of staff and contractors to ensure the efficient and timely completion of projects and tasks.
Monitoring and evaluating the performance and productivity of staff and contractors, providing feedback, guidance, and training as needed.
Ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or problems that arise during the operations, such as equipment malfunctions, delays, or accidents.
Communicating and collaborating with other mangers, supervisors, clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Preparing and maintaining various records and reports related to the operations, such as inventory, budget, payroll, maintenance, or incident reports.
Fulfil other related tasks as requested by management or other department personnel.
As the business is evolving this includes “working on the tools”
