Overview:
Raha Indian Cuisine, a distinguished fine dining establishment in Dundalk, is offering a unique internship opportunity for aspiring culinary professionals. We are seeking a Junior Intern Chef who is passionate about Indian cuisine and eager to develop their culinary skills under the guidance of our experienced chefs.

Duration: 3 to 4 months

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and Cooking:

Learn to prepare a range of Indian dishes while ensuring consistency with our recipes and presentation standards.
Work alongside our chefs to efficiently prepare dishes during service times, upholding our quality standards.
Menu Collaboration:

Support our Head Chef and Sous Chef in the development and refinement of new dishes and recipes.
Engage in menu planning and the selection of specials, focusing on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Quality Standards:

Aid in the preparation of dishes to meet our high standards in both taste and presentation.
Participate in regular flavor assessments to ensure consistency.
Safety and Cleanliness:

Strictly adhere to our hygiene and safety protocols in accordance with restaurant policies and local regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, ensuring equipment and utensils are properly maintained.
Training and Development:

Receive mentorship from senior kitchen staff, enhancing your culinary skills.
Stay informed about current trends in Indian cuisine and culinary best practices.
Requirements:

A genuine interest in developing a career in the culinary arts, specifically Indian cuisine.
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a culinary program is preferable.
Eagerness to learn and a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong team player with effective communication skills.
Must have the right to intern in Ireland.
