Are you passionate about delivering results through value creation and customer relationships?
MAN-ES is looking for a Sales Manager who wants to make a difference through result-oriented and value-based sales. You will be part of the sales team in Frederikshavn with responsibility for Aftersales in our 4-stroke division: Propulsion, Spare Parts and Service Sales.

You will be responsible for creating long-term relationships and doing outreach sales to existing, as well as new potential aftersales customers. In addition, you will motivate and collaborate with an established network of local offices that handle the daily dialog with customers.

Your area of responsibility is EMEA, but as MAN-ES is globally oriented, you are naturally expected to be able to assist our global customers in interaction with your colleagues in the department. Around 40 days of travelling per year is to be expected.

You will play an important role in:
As a Sales Manager, you will:

Build good relationships with new and existing customers
Strengthen sales through a well-defined sales concept that will contribute to the unit’s and your success
Sparring across departments, including marketing information, customer development, technical inquiries, competitors, trends, etc.
Act as an ambassador for MAN-ES’s new vision, strategy and values to customers, partners and colleagues
Secure MAN-ES’s agenda higher in the customer’s organization (tactical and strategic level)

Your main focus as a Sales Manager is to sell value-based solutions to our customers. Both in collaboration with local offices and directly to the end user. In your daily work, you will work closely with various support functions, so knowledge of the maritime industry is not a requirement.

You are expected to take responsibility and thrive on making contact with new customers both virtually and in person. You are also expected to understand the connection between proactive efforts and results.

In addition, you are expected to:

Have experience with sales and communication at a high organizational level
Are fluent in written and spoken English at a negotiation level
Is self-motivated and results-driven
Have the drive to ensure further development, quality and progress
Possess an analytical and strategic approach to prioritization
Works with CRM as a planning tool and business intelligence as the focal point for a strong data foundation
Motivated by new challenges and tasks, you are always ready to take on whatever the team or situation requires

You will be part of a team of around 20 skilled colleagues with a strong focus on customer management and market cultivation. All Sales Managers are responsible for their own regions and cross-functional sparring is expected.
