During the day busy doing other things? Or are you just more of an “evening or night person”? Then this is the perfect job for you! At DPD in Berkel en Rodenrijs you are going to work in evening shifts and/or night shifts. As a warehouse worker the packages are flying all around your head. Can you catch them and lift them on the assembly line? Yeah! You’ll get a salary up to €19,24 per hour including shift allowances. Read this vacancy quickly and start working next week!

What we offer
€13,27 bruto each hour from 18 years.
Evening shifts and night shifts.
Between 20.00 and 24.00h: 30% extra!

Who you are
You don’t need experience! We’re going to teach you everything you need to know. When you start working as warehouse worker, you need to get a VOG (Certificate of conduct). Of course you’ll get the costs back! Further, you:

Can do a physically heavy job. You can throw around packages of 20 kg easily!
Can work evening shifts starting from 16.00h and night shifts. They will start between 24.00 and 02.00h and you’ll be finished between 06.30 and 07.00h. We have also possibility of a broken shift for you
Have your own transport to go to Berkel en Rodenrijs. Because of the working hours it’s not possible to travel with the metro, tram or bus to DPD. Having your own car or bicycle is very important!
What will you do
Trucks will arrive at the depot and are full of packages. As a warehouse worker you’re going to unload the trucks by hand. One package, two packages… Before you know you have lifted 20 packages! The packages will be sorted by zip code on the assembly line. At the end of the line is a truck waiting to be loaded by you. The big and heavy packages on the bottom and the lighter packages on top! Done! The truck can leave securely. Because you don’t know what’s inside the package, it’s always a question how heavy the package will be.
You can choose if you want to work evening shifts and night shifts every other week. Or you can work only night shifts. At least you have to be available for 3 shifts a week.

Where will you work
Do you know DPD? Of course! Everywhere you see DPD vans riding! The packages who are in the van were in your hands at the depot. Cool right?!
You’re going to work in Berkel en Rodenrijs. Very close to Rotterdam. As a warehouse worker you’re loading and unloading the truck on your own. Having a chat with your colleague? Of course you can do that! Looking for a long term job? You can work for a longer period of time!
