Job Title: Full-Time Occupational Therapist

Location: Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia

Job Opportunity: We are looking for a qualified and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will help individuals achieve their desired lifestyle by delivering contemporary therapy services that maximize independence and participation. We seek a highly motivated, energetic, and committed practitioner who thrives on bringing happiness, vitality, and success to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments with a focus on understanding the cultural, physical, and emotional needs of patients, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Develop and maintain accurate records, including treatment plans and progress notes, with sensitivity to cultural factors.
Provide therapy services, including exercises and activities, to promote health and independence.
Utilize therapeutic techniques to support patients in improving or recovering their abilities.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including GPs and physiotherapists, within our multidisciplinary team.
Adapt therapy plans based on patient progress, attending conferences and meetings to discuss treatment.
Engage with clients in remote Indigenous communities to deliver culturally respectful care.
Be flexible and open to handling diverse tasks as part of a cohesive team.
