About the role

Brydone Hotel Oamaru, is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join their team in Oamaru, Otago. This full-time position will see you playing a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a wide variety of high-quality dishes to our menus

Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene

Collaborating with the kitchen team to continuously improve our offerings

Assisting with menu planning and development

Providing exceptional customer service to our diners

Ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and cost-effectively

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Chef within the hospitality industry

Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes
